Treat these as published venue rates, not your complete event bill. Ask the office for a dated quotation covering your selected slot, food, taxes and any extras before paying an advance.
For example, if you want an afternoon annaprashan, compare six-hour packages across the venues. Comparing a six-hour family function with a 22-hour wedding booking tells you very little about value.
The published ERMS Gate 2 terms include six hours of AC use and list ₹3,000 for each additional hour. They also state that backup power runs lights, fans and lifts, while AC does not operate during a power cut. Read the venue’s AC and electricity terms.
Ask the team to write the AC start and finish times into your event schedule. For a ceremony followed by an evening reception, discuss which hours need cooling before you finalise the package.
Ask how many people the venue can seat with your stage, ceremony area and food counters in place. A single maximum guest number cannot show you that arrangement.
Consider a reception with 300 invitees. If most arrive around dinner time, plan the seating and meal service around that busy period. Walk from the entrance to the stage, then towards the buffet. Check where a queue would form and whether it would block anyone trying to reach a table.
For a smaller event, ask the team to bring the seating, dining and main activity closer together. You want your guests to feel part of the occasion without spreading them across every available corner.
