Annaprashan, upanayan, birthday, engagement, anniversary and get together functions all sit in this category.

GST applies on top. Decoration stays included.

The 6 hour slot at Rs 70,000 covers a standard morning function properly. You reach by 8 or 8:30 am for setup. The ceremony runs through the muhurat window. Photos and greetings follow. Lunch starts around noon. Guests finish and leave by mid afternoon. You vacate by 3 pm.

Most rice ceremonies and thread ceremonies fit that shape exactly. Move up to the 12 hour slot only if your programme genuinely stretches into the evening.

Booking Terms: Every Charge Before You Commit

We publish these openly. Surprise charges spoil the day for everybody.

• Air conditioning for the first 6 hours

Additional charges:

Rules to note before you pay the advance:

• The Rs 20,000 security deposit comes back to you after the event, subject to the usual condition checks
• Our decoration design stays fixed for each hall. If you want a different theme or extra floral work, our decorator team arranges it, but customisation carries an extra cost
• Decor, lighting and sound run through our in house vendors only. Outside vendors for these three services are not permitted
• If you postpone, the Rs 10,000 fee applies and the paid amount is not refunded. You can reschedule within one year of the original date

Keep an eye on the AC clock. Air conditioning comes free for six hours, then costs Rs 3,000 per hour. On a Baisakh or Jyaishtha wedding that runs 22 hours, that becomes a real number. Budget for it from the start rather than treating it as a surprise at settlement.

• Guests will use the Jyotirindra Nandi metro station

Pick Upalakshya, Survey Park if:

• You live on the Garfa side, closer to Santoshpur
• Many guests will travel by bus, since the Ajoynagar stop is right there

Should I book 12 hours or 22 hours for a wedding?

Take 22 hours for a full Bengali wedding, because the programme runs from the morning arrangements through the overnight basar ghar to the next morning bidaay. Twelve hours suits a standalone reception or bou bhat evening.

What happens if my function runs longer than the slot?

An extension charge of Rs 5,000 per hour applies. Air conditioning comes free for the first 6 hours and costs Rs 3,000 per hour after that.
